WHERE IT BEGAN
Lucia Marie "Lucy" Sirois was born in Walnut Creek, California, on February 1, 1991 to Jim Sirois and former actress Veronica Lopez. Her mother is of Puerto Rican decent while her father has some German ancestry. Lucy has an older brother, actor Mario Sirois, and a younger maternal half-sister, Sofia Reynolds. Her parents divorced in late 1995, shortly after her third birthday.

Lucy first gained interest in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry after joining her mother on one of her film sets. After that, she began auditioning for various television roles. She's made guest appearances in episodes of Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. With the giant fan base behind the The Twilight Saga films, Lucy finally began to gain some recognition for her small role as Angela Weber. Along with acting, music had always been one of Lucy's passions as well, and while filming The Secret Circle in 2010, she recorded several videos of herself singing covers of Whitney Houston, Adele, and many others for YouTube. Her videos became so popular that she received offers from several record labels, but she ultimately decided to sign with Republic Records. She released her first single "Put Your Hearts up" in December 2011, but later disowned the track after deciding to go a more R&B route with her music.

MUSIC CAREER
Once news broke that The Secret Circle had been cancelled, Lucy decided to shift her focus entirely to her music career. She debuted her very first album, Yours Truly, on August 30, 2013, which debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 album chart one month later. But as Lucy began to gain more popularity, so did her ego. After joining Justin Bieber on his Believe Tour for three shows, she kicked off her own headlining tour, The Listening Sessions, and could be found partying extensively at local clubs after each gig. This began to spark rumors that Lucy had a major diva complex and was experimenting with drugs, but the latter was eventually proven to be untrue by her reps.

By January 2014, she released a four-song Christmas EP, Christmas Kisses, and had already begun recording her second studio album. Her label tried pairing her up with various "nice" men in the industry to make it look like she'd cleaned up her act, but this only irritated the 23-year-old even more. On July 4, 2014, Lucy was arrested in Los Angeles, California for driving under the influence and resisting arrest. The case was settled a few months later with a plea bargain, where she agreed to attend a drunk driving eduction program and to contribute $100,000 to a local charity. Family and fans hoped the stress caused from that would change her outlook on life and her career for the better.

Finally, Lucy released her second album, My Everything, on August 25, 2014. Critics had claimed that it would never chart the in the top 50, saying the fans were tired of her constant reckless behavior. Much to their dismay, My Everything became her second consecutive No. 1 album in the US. Shows how much the critics knew. Sadly, it seemed that more success only meant more bad behavior. Now embarked on a new tour as of early 2015, Lucy has turned it into one giant party playground, even going as far to invite fans to join her at exclusive after parties.
