From the day she could start speaking in small sentences, Frankie Gallagher had been trying to mimic sounds and voices. But it wasn't until her father told the little girl she could do that for a living that the dream to become a voice actor came alive. "It's going to be a lot hard work," he explained. "There are thousands of people who are going to be auditioning for the same roles as you, but as long as you want to do it, your mom and I will help you every step of the way." Of course, he was also banking on his daughter getting tired of it after a week. Unfortunately for him, it didn't quite work out that way.

Every part that a young girl (or even a boy) could possibly voice, Frankie auditioned for. But most of the roles would go to much older actors with a lot of experience, meaning they could work longer days and voice multiple characters for the studios. It was finally suggested by Frankie's mother that she begin auditioning for live roles as well. She was obviously a cute girl with a lot of potential, someone would see that and put her in their project. She also knew that's what would eventually get her daughter's name out there, and with Mrs. Gallagher being a former actress and fame whore, nothing would make her happier than having a famous daughter to attract attention back to herself again.

After landing herself a role on a daytime soap opera in 2004, Frankie assumed the hard work was finally beginning to pay off. It wasn't something she wanted to do the rest of her life, especially since being infront of the camera made her nervous, but it was another live role she could add to her resume. Once she turned 18-year-old, and soon after her parents decided to divorce, it was time for her to think about moving out on her own. Naturally, her mother didn't like the idea. She wanted her daughter close enough to control her and her career, especially now that she didn't have a husband on a tight leash anymore. But Frankie was tired of her mother's insufferable antics, so she took what money she had saved up and waved goodbye to her family home, moving into a small apartment two hours away in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles was a little scary for a young woman on her own for the first time. Not only that, auditioning without someone looking out for her anymore was a whole new level of creepy she'd never experienced before. She couldn't even count on one hand the amount of times men approached her, offering movie roles in return for a sexual favor or two. It was so hard to get a good job that she was tempted to accept at times, even if it did frighten her half to death that one of them could take advantage of her, but she never allowed herself to. After one of their last offers, she decided to stick to voiceover work around the people she'd grown to know well.

Now at 26, and with what she considers to be a "decent amount" of experience under her belt, Frankie's decided to shake off the things that happened to her in the past and make a reach for the limelight again. Is she ready to pay the price that comes along with real fame? Probably not. But that's not going to stop her from trying this time.

» Aside from getting a role in a Star Wars film, she considers being invited to Comic Con her biggest accomplishment.

» Was one of the top two people to get the part of Katniss Everdeen, but she obviously got beat out in the end.

» Can be incredibly shy around new people. She also suffers from crippling stage fright at times, which is another reason why she's stuck with voiceover work for so long.

» She's slowly beginning to see the way Hollywood is taking it's toll on her peers, so she tries really hard to look out for them and step in to help when she can. She's may have a slight case of the mother hen complex.

» One time, she met John Stamos on a plane. And he told her she was pretty. (Not really)
